Subject: Early Cracker fan's must-have, but not perfect audio
Any Cracker (or Camper Van Beethoven) fan will want to download this and the other David Lowery show here on the LMA.

Of the two shows under "David Lowery," the one from Cat's Cradle in Carboro, NC, is far superior, audio-wise. The sound is sharp and clear, and it deserves five stars.

This is a great piece of nostalgia and I downloaded it purely for "historical" reasons, but it's not going to get too many listens. The sound is real muddy. Yes, I can clean some of that up, the the ? source is obviously an audience recording, since David's voice is overshadowed by the instruments.

If you want a good show to listen to, get the one from NC. If you want every Lowery show you can get, then download this. I did. But IMHO, giving it three stars is appropriate.

Whoever uploaded this, thank you. I'm sure you did your best to capture this show on tape, and your work IS appreciated.
